In the year 1949, on April 30, four years after the end of world war II Gregory James Aziz was born in the city of London. This was the genesis of a man who would achieve great success in his life. He first attended school at Ridley College and later majored in Economics at the University of Western Ontario. Today he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of National Steel Car, which he has successfully managed ever since he purchased it in 1994.

James Aziz career journey started right after his completion of studies at the University of Western Ontario. He joined Affiliated Foods, which is a family-run food company that imports and distributes fresh foods. Greg would work with the company for the next sixteen years, during which Affiliated Foods, grew to international standards tapping global markets. Apart from providing employment for thousands of people at National Steel Car, he also sponsors charity organizations such as Theatre Aquarius and the Hamilton Opera. He is a father of two daughters and is married to Irene with whom they jointly sponsor the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair in Canada.
