Dr. Jennifer Walden, One of the Few Female Plastic Surgeons in the Country

New York City was very welcoming to Jennifer Walden following a fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat through Lenox Hill Hospital. At the New York University Langone Medical Center, she was a clinical instructor for surgery. Since then, Dr. Walden has made a name for herself.

Dr. Walden has been featured by various magazines and networks and holds rights at various hospitals. She is just one female plastic surgeon of a very few women in plastic surgery in the country. She did her fellowship in cosmetic surgery and through her fellowship, she has maintained an avid advocate for women’s health and empowerment.

Dr. Walden graduated from Anderson High School and went on to earn her undergraduate from the University of Texas. She holds her undergrad in biology and then got her masters from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She however was placed on the waitlist through the university and even though she was waitlisted, she went on to be the salutatorian her year in class.

Once she was out of residency from the University of Texas Medical Branch, she went on to earn her fellowship from Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in aesthetics. Once her fellowship was over, Jennifer stayed on at the hospital in New York City on the upper east side. She remained there for over seven years and participated in a number of clinical trials which focused on implants. It was during this time that she decided to enter into being a plastic surgeon.

Once her twins were born, Dr. Walden opted to move back to Texas in order to allow for her twins to be closer to their family. Once she was back in Texas, Dr. Walden opted to open her own practice. The practice would go on to be one of the best in the country.
