The movie stars who works to seek revenge on a group of assassins. The assassins try to kill her unborn child, which in return, takes her to Japan where she fights the Tokyo Yakuza. Volume 1 is the first movie to be released within the series. Volume 1 became Tarantino’s largest-grossing movie up to that point in his career allowing him to earn over $180 million.

Lawrence Bender was born in The Bronx, New York. He moved to New Jersey where he attended school. His father worked at a college as a professor who specialized in history. His mother was a kindergarten teacher who dedicated many years to teaching. He quickly decided that he wanted to pursue a career in civil engineering. He had a long family line of civil engineers and he was curious to find a good job within the field. He eventually graduated with his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine in 1979. He eventually started his career as a film producer in the 1980s and found his passion for producing many high-end movies.
Lawrence Bender also serves as a prominent social activist with a political view while supporting many different causes. He is on the Advisory Board to the Dean at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government where he also serves on board of The Creative Coalition. He was also named the Wildlife Hero which was presented by the National Wildlife Federation.
